Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, announces the arrest of one
individual as the result of a joint investigation conducted by agents of the Federal
Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crimes Unit, New Jersey State Police, Detectives from
the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit, and Raritan Township
Police.
On November 2, 2011, the agents and detectives executed a warrant at the Raritan
Township home of Charles DeGregorio. Detectives seized computer equipment and
records pertaining to the investigation.
Mr. Charles DeGregorio was arrested by Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s SVU
Detectives. He was charged with the distribution and possession of child pornography.
Bail for the defendant was set at $100,000, with no 10% option by Superior Court Judge
Stephen B. Rubin.

The filing of a criminal complaint is merely a step in the criminal justice process. The
defendant is presumed innocent until the matter is resolved in a court of law.
