Gas line replacement begins Nov 1st, 2011. 400 blk of Moran Road. Two week project. Plan alt. routes. 
The Grosse Pointe Farms Department of Public Safety would like to inform residents of the following construction project /road closure:
DTE Energy / Mich Con will be replacing a gas line in the 400 block of Moran Road, from Mack to Mt. Vernon. This will be a large project and it is scheduled to take two weeks to complete. Project will commence starting on November 1st 2011 (Tuesday). Residents should be aware that Moran between Mack & Mt. Vernon (possibly up to Chalfonte) may be closed to vehicular traffic at times and on street parking will be limited. Expect heavy equipment and large trucks in the area.
