DENT REPAIR SCAM Have you been a victim?

Newport Beach Police Detectives are looking for additional victims of an auto dent repair scam. On October 22nd, at approximately 3:00 p.m., a resident in the 1400 block of Galaxy Drive was approached by two suspects who offered to fix a dent in her vehicle. The suspects described below, asked the victim for $300 dollars to cover materials, and then followed the victim to an ATM so she could get the money. After receiving the money the suspects left and never returned.

SUSPECT 1: Name given: Adam, male Hispanic, 5’10”, 150 lbs, brown hair, approximately 25 years of age, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
SUSPECT 2: Name given: Justin, male Hispanic, 5’8”, 160 lbs, brown hair, blue eyes, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
SUSPECT VEHICLE: Possible a newer model Toyota, Camry, 4-door, white in color.
