The Hercules Police Department is asking our citizens to help us catch copper thieves by reporting any suspicious behavior on walking paths or near light poles where electrical wires can be accessed. The thieves will use tools and flashlights to commit these thefts. If you notice lighting suddenly go off when it is normally on, see a person acting suspiciously (loitering, ducking down, kneeling in an area where wires may be underground) or hear noise that is unusual to your area please call our police dispatch at 510-724-1111 to report the suspicious behavior.
