Big Island police are searching for a 30-year-old Pahoa man wanted for violating parole.

Matthew Keoni Tilfas is described as a local male, 5-foot-5, 160 pounds with short black hair, brown eyes and possibly a mustache and goatee. He also is known as "Matt" and "Jenning."

He has several tattoos:

Bugs Bunny on his back
A large cross and the name"Keoni" on his upper left arm
A series of triangles on his left forearm
A rose and the name "Courtney" on his left inner forearm
The name "TILFAS" on his abdomen

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call Detective Royce Serrao at 961-8810, Detective John Rodrigues at 961-2382 or the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
