On Sunday, 16 October 2011 Police were dispatched to Market Street and First Street on a report of an assault. On arrival victim stated he was walking home south bound on First Street when he was approached from behind by unknown juvenile males who then punched him in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. Same stated while he was on the ground he was kicked multiple time in the stomach. Same also stated his gold chain was ripped off his neck and his cell phone taken from his pants pocket while on the ground.

Suspects: 4 or 5 Hispanic juvenile males; 1-male wearing pajama pants, 1- male wearing a black hoodie with red stripes, and 1- male with blue sweat pants, heavy set and black straight hair, 15-17 old.

A witness stated that the juveniles fled the area north on First Street onto Market Street. Witness believes one of the suspects is a resident who lives in the area. The Investigation is led by Detective Pete Boulieris anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Boulieris at 732-324-3868.
