Burglary Suspect Arrested.
The Perth Amboy Police Department has arrested Enrique Nobles Jr. age 39 of 71 Lewis Street, Perth Amboy, New Jersey for his involvement with two night time burglaries which occurred on Sunday, 25 September 2011.
The first burglary that occurred that night was at Perth Amboy City Hall located at 260 High Street. Nobles entered City Hall through one of the annex windows located on the northern side of the building. Once inside the building he forcefully entered several of the offices and attempted to pry open several file cabinets. Several electronic devices including two laptop computers were taken from inside City Hall.
The second burglary occurred at the Bayside Creamery located at 283 Front Street. Nobles pried open a rear window to gain entry into the business. Once in the establishment he removed $120.00 in rolled coins from the office desk.
Through an extensive investigation led by the Perth Amboy Investigative Division Nobles was arrested on Saturday, 15 October 2011 by the Conrail Train Station on Smith Street for several outstanding warrants. Nobles provided Detectives with a full statement on his involvement with the burglaries and was subsequently charged with 2-Counts of Burglary.
The investigation was lead by Detective Chris Joy. He was assisted by Lt. Phil Terranova, Detective Stephen Petrosino, Detective Sandra Rivera & Detective Joseph Sciortino.
Arresting officers were Detective Sgt. Luis Armas, Detective Ralph Cruz, Detective Jim Vargas and Detective Kenneth Puccio
