PRESS RELEASE: October 13, 2011
On October 12th, 2011 Hunterdon County Law Enforcement representatives attended a service at the Cathedral of Saint Francis of Assisi in Metuchen. The service honored New Jersey Police Officers and those killed in the line of duty. Bishop Paul Bootkoski invited officials of all faiths from Middlesex, Somerset, Warren and Hunterdon counties to the service to receive a special blessing.
Among the representatives members attending the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office, Sheriff’s Department, Department of Public Safety, Readington Township, Frenchtown, Holland, New Jersey State Police, and New Jersey Department of Corrections.
Clergy accompanying the Hunterdon group was Monsignor Randal Vashon, Rev. Michael Gromadzki, Rev. Andrew L. Szaroleta from the Immaculate Conception Church, Rev. Keith Cervine, and Rev. David Errickson of the Lambertville, New Jersey.
