Rockton Police Investigate Attempted Child Abduction
Today at 3:42 pm, Rockton Police received a call of an attempted child abduction on Nazarene Drive north of Rockton Road.
Vehicle: Older white compact 4-door style vehicle with light grey interior and dark scuff marks on the rear bumper. The registration is unknown but the last two numbers end in 97 with a yellowing at the top of the license plate.
Suspect: White male subject 45 to 50 years of age, 5’11 to 6’00 tall, thin build with blondish short hair. The subject was wearing older style round glasses, he was clean shaven, and had on a dirty white t-shirt with a beer logo on it.
The victim stated the subject pulled up next to her and asked if she was alright. The driver then got out of the vehicle and tried to push the victim into his vehicle. When another vehicle approached the area, the driver let go of the victim and fled south bound on Nazarene Drive.
