Full Notification

On Sunday, 09 October 2011 at 1:45 am, police were dispatched to the area of Elm Street, next to the Train Station Parking Lot for a reported dispute. Upon arrival Police Officers Jose Santiago and Gilberto Arocho observed a male lying face up on the ground, same appeared conscious but covered with blood from a laceration on his head. The victim was identified as Rafael Tobar, DOB 08/31/1987; he was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick, NJ. Several witnesses advised Officers that the victim had been assaulted by a group of five males which were still in the area. The following individuals were identified and arrested; Miguel Diaz, DOB 01/17/1993, Franklin Odalis Frias, DOB 10/01/1991, Miguel Arturo Cuevas Corder, DOB 03/21/1991, Daniel Arbelaez Duque, DOB 01/24/1993 and Alexander Torres, DOB 11/09/1992.

All the suspects were charged with Aggravated Assault and bail was set at $15,000.00 no 10% by the Honorable Judge Emery Toth.
