The Santa Anita Race Track (SART) will open their Autumn meet and live racing resumes Friday, September 30, 2011, through November 6, 2011.

Traffic in the area of SART may increase on race days, particularly between the hours of 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and again from about 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Additionally, Colorado Place may be closed to southbound traffic at Colorado Street on certain race days to allow for egress of traffic from the track. This closure is usually between 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Commuter traffic is diverted eastbound Colorado Street to Santa Anita Avenue.

If your travels take you near the Santa Anita Race Track on race days during the listed times, you may wish to use alternate routes to avoid delays. Foothill Boulevard and Duarte Road may be used in lieu of Huntington Drive. Michillinda Avenue, Rosemead Boulevard, and Santa Anita Avenue are alternates to Baldwin Avenue.
