Short term traffic delays expected today on Novi Rd between I-96 and Grand River between 11:30am and 3:00pm Alternate route advised 
Novi Road Link Project:
At this point of construction, the contractor is ready to take delivery of the concrete bridge support
beams. On Thursday, September 22, the first set of concrete beams will be delivered to the construction
site between 11:30 am and 3 p.m. from I-96 and Novi Road. On Friday, September 23, the next set of
beams will arrive during the same 11:30 am to 3 p.m. time schedule. Due to the complexity of the
delivery, traffic will be impacted on Novi Road between I-96 and Grand River Avenue. Novi Police will
block traffic and guide the beam trucks accordingly through each of the affected intersections. On
Monday, September 26, the third set of six beams will arrive from I-96 and Beck Road, with the fourth and
final set of six beams again arriving from I-96 and Beck Road on Tuesday, September 27.
