Heavy rainfall is currently causing roadway flooding in the area of 5th Street near Victor Street and on N. Midland Avenue near Zuckerbergs.

Rainfall associated with the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee will affect the region over the next several days. Flooding of small streams and poor drainage areas in likely, however the threat of major river flooding has diminished. We will continue to monitor the situation and send further notifications if warranted.

We remind motorists NOT to drive through standing water as you do not know how deep it actually is. Water damage to the engine of your vehicle will require major repairs and cost.
