Please join the Chula Vista Fire and Police Departments, along with City Officials, for a ceremony to honor those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks. The '9/11 – A Decade of Remembrance Memorial Ceremony & 9/11 Tribute Family Run/Walk' will take place this weekend. Important ceremony information is as follows:

Event: 9/11 Ceremony and Tribute Family Run/Walk
Date: Sunday, September 11th, 2011
Location: Otay Ranch Town Center / (REI, Macy’s end of the Otay Ranch Town Center) / 2015 Birch Road, Chula Vista 91915

- Registration begins at 8:00am (in front of REI).
- Run/Walk begins at 8:30am.
- Memorial ceremony at 9:00am.
- Pancake breakfast at 9:30am
- Military, Police and Fire demonstrations; kids’ activities from 10:00am through 12:00pm.
- Flat, one mile run/walk. Dogs, strollers and wheelchairs welcome.
- FREE t-shirts for youth participants (while supplies last).
- FREE lapel pins for adult participants (while supplies last).
- Please park in the lot south of the Macy’s store, closest to Birch Road.
- This is a FREE family run/walk. There is NO COST to participate.
