On Thursday, 01 September 2011 members of the Special Investigations Bureau of the Perth Amboy Police Department executed a Municipal Court Search Warrant at 358 Rector Street, apt. #217. The residents Thomas Peter Gomez age 34 and his girlfriend Maria Carmen Marquez age 30 were arrested and charged with possession of Crack Cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute, possession with the intent to distribute within a School Zone and several additional drug related and weapons charges. Gomez also had several outstanding warrants. The following items were recovered and seized; approximately 50 grams of Crack Cocaine valued at $5,000.00 (which is a 2nd degree crime), $1,300.00 in cash, a 2005 Audi A6, a .40 caliber Ruger firearm w/10 rounds (stolen out of Glassboro, N.J.), and a .38 caliber Rohm revolver w/5 rounds. The investigation was headed by Detective Mabner Terron.
