Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III and Hunterdon County Sheriff Fred Brown announced the capture of JUSTIN DRAKE.
Drake, age 31, had been a fugitive since a bench warrant for his arrest was issued on June 28, 2010 in Hunterdon County. Drake had originally been charged with Providing False Information to Police in Franklin Township. Drake never appeared for a first appearance and he was considered a fugitive.
Prosecutor Kearns said, “The Hunterdon County Joint Fugitive Task Force received multiple tips that Drake was recently seen in the High Bridge area. The High Bridge Police Department was advised of this information and officers arrested the fugitive without incident.”
Drake is currently being held at the Hunterdon County Jail on a no bail warrant.
The filing of a criminal complaint is merely a step in the criminal justice process. The defendant is presumed innocent until the matter is resolved in a court of law.
