Hurricane Irene 
As of 7:00 P.M. on August 27, 2011 Mayor Walter G. Wargacki has declared a State of Emergency in the Borough of Wallington, due to the severity of Hurricane Irene. Anyone who experienced flooding during Hurricane Floyd in 1999 should consider vacating their residence and making arrangements to stay with relatives or friends.
The Wallington Civic Center will be open as of 9:00 P.M.
You may park your vehicle at the Little League Parking lot, Jefferson School Parking lot, the upper lot of Wallington Lanes and the perimeter of Food Basics near the Chase Bank on Paterson Ave.
