SHOOTING AND ARREST
Dearborn, Mi. —
At approximately 1:00 pm Dearborn police responded to the 1600 block of Highview after receiving a 911 call from an occupant of the home stating that a shooting had occurred. Officers discovered a woman had been shot within the residence.
Upon arrival police took into custody the 27-year-old male occupant without incident. The 28-year-old female occupant was transported to Oakwood Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
At this time the names of the individuals are being withheld pending notification to the families of those involved. At this time the shooting appears to be a domestic incident.
Dearborn Police Investigators are continuing to investigate the facts and circumstances of this incident.
