Nick Hunt Benefit Planned For August 21st.

Nick Hunt, a regular on the Red Oak Opry music show was severely burned May 19th at the TXI plant in Midlothian. He was careflighted to Parkland Hospital with burns over 75% of his body. He is now in physical therapy learning to make the simple steps of living again.

The Red Oak Opry family has pulled together to provide a benefit country music show... "One Step At A Time"... Featuring Nick's friends ... the Opry band and performers. Also a special guest appearance by KLUV's morning man Jodie Dean.

All show proceeds to benefit Nick Hunt and family.

The show will be held on Sunday, August 21st at 4:00 p.m.with the doors opening at 3:15 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Red Oak, 320 E. Ovilla Rd, (FM 664) 1 mile east of I-35. Tickets will be sold at the door: Adults $10 and Children 12 & under $5.
