The Hercules Police Department is issuing an alert for daytime vehicle burglaries occurring in city shopping centers. Front passenger side windows of parked cars have been smashed and items of value laying in plain view on the front seat have been stolen. Remember to keep valued items out of view. A suspect vehicle has been identified as a black 2 door Lexus SC400. The car was occupied by 3 black males subjects late teens to early twenties, one dressed in gray hoodie. Anyone who sees suspicious activity in or around parked vehicles should immediately call HPD at 510-724-1111.
