Suspect: Black, male, mid 20’s, 5’6”, thin build, wearing a black T-shirt, black jeans and a black, knit ski mask that exposed the suspect’s eyes and nose. The suspect carried a dark canvass shoulder bag.


On 7/12/2011, at about 3:37 pm, the suspect described above walked into the Bank of the West on N. California Blvd. The suspect demanded money as he walked up to the teller counter. The suspect pulled a small, dark hand gun from the canvass bag as he demanded money. Two tellers handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect walked out of the bank and south bound on N. California Blvd. A Walnut Creek Police K9 traced the suspect’s scent to the parking garage of 1990 N. California Blvd. The suspect was not located. There were no injuries.
