Narrative:
On the above date and time the Ventura Police Command Center received several 911 calls of gunshots being fired in the area of Ventura Ave and Flint St. As officers were responding additional 911 callers advised of a possible shooting victim in the area. As officers arrived numerous citizens were reporting a fight had occurred and someone involved in the fight was firing a handgun.
After searching the area and several homes for approximately two hours officers were unable to locate a victim. A handgun was located near the scene of the original fight. A records check determined that gun was stolen from the Los Angeles area.
