DON’T BECOME A CRIME VICTIM
The Carson Sheriff Station and the City of Carson will host a Crime Prevention Fair on Thursday, June 16, 2011, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Mills Park, located at 1340 East Dimondale Drive, in Carson.
Deputies will distribute a variety of materials and information about crime prevention activities. Topics of discussion will include crime trends; graffiti, gang and traffic investigations. Exhibitors will include the California Highway Patrol, Carson Station’s Gang Diversion Team, Peace & Joy Care Center, Reserve Deputy Recruitment, Carson Sheriff’s Station Support Foundation (CSSSF), and AADAP, Inc.
“The most important crime prevention tool is community involvement. We believe in partnerships with our residents to increase safety and crime prevention awareness within our community,” said Lieutenant Eddie Rivero.
