About This Crime
• On Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at approximately 7:00 p.m. a 14 year old female was
walking in the 600 Block of West 36th Street when a male Hispanic approached her
on foot and attempted to force her into a van. The victim fought off the offender
and ran away. The offender then got into his van and fled the area.
About The Offender
• The offender is a male Hispanic 30 - 40 years of age, 6'00 – 6'05" tall, medium build
with a medium complexion and thick curly hair. He was wearing and a dark shirt,
jeans and work boots. He was last seen driving a black full size work van.
What You Can Do
• Be aware of this situation and alert neighbors in the area about the crime.
• If possible, don't walk alone and stay in well lit areas.
• Call 911 to report any suspicious person(s), vehicle(s) or activity in your
