Please be advised, when visiting Griffith Park, the Observatory and the L.A. Zoo, that there have been many vehicle break-ins in the parking lots.
SUV Owners: There have been many vehicle break-ins where third row seats are removed. If you do not need to use your third row seats, you might want to consider removing them while visiting these tourist locations.
In any vehicle, always lock your vehicle. Do not leave items in your vehicle visible to others. Purses, mp3’s, GPS, and laptops are “hot items.” HIDE THEM!
Never park your vehicle and place items in the trunk where others are watching. As soon as you walk away, your vehicle may be broken into.
