Palm Coast Man Charged in Child Pornography Case

Palm Coast Man Charged in Child Pornography Case

A 19-year-old Palm Coast man was charged with two counts of promoting sexual performances of a child after investigators from the FBI and the Florida Attorney General’s Office, assisted by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant on a Palm Coast home Tuesday morning.

Tristan Lancaster of 32 Pebble Stone Lane was arrested following an investigation by the State Attorney General’s Child Predator Cybercrime Unit that was launched in December 2010. Investigators reported that on at least one occasion in December child pornography was downloaded from the Internet to a computer at 8 Fanwood Court in Palm Coast.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for the home and Tuesday morning, the computer was seized. Two videos were found depicting child pornography.

Lancaster, according to the investigators, had lived at the home from mid-November 2010 until mid-March 2011. During an interview at the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, Lancaster admitted to accessing the videos while staying at the home.

He was being booked into the Flagler County Inmate Facility Tuesday afternoon with $20,000 bond on the charges.

“Law enforcement officials nationwide are going to remain vigilant in tracking and identifying child pornography users and producers. I am pleased we were able to assist in this case,” said Flagler County Sheriff Donald W. Fleming.
