Burglary

On Thursday, 03/29/2011 at 10:30 am Police Officer Jeffrey Kuchie was dispatched to BBQ Latino Restaurant, 287 State Street, on a report of a burglary that occurred. Victim reported that between 9:30 pm 03/28/2011 and 09:15 am 03/29/2011, unknown suspect(s) entered his restaurant and removed fifty dollars from the cash register and a power drill with charger from a rear storage room. Victim found the cash register on a table in the kitchen with the drawer pried open, coins scattered on the floor, and fifty dollars missing from it. Victim stated that the suspect(s) entered the restaurant by cutting a hole in the second floor ceiling and walked down the stairs to an unlocked door leading into the restaurant. Victim stated his rear steel security door was found pulled down, locked, and undamaged. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Mark Celecki at 732-324-3834.
