Deputies assigned to the Lancaster Community Appreciation Project (LANCAP) team ended a month’s long narcotics investigation by serving search warrants at two eastside Lancaster homes (43300 block of Edson Ave, and 1200 block of Samra Ave.)late Wednesday afternoon.

The investigation began with an anonymous tip received through the Los Angeles Regional “CRIME STOPPERS” tip line.

During the searches, the team recovered a significant quantity of methamphetamine as well as cash, stolen property and evidence related to the sales of narcotics.

Suspects AlexanderJames, MH/26, and Michele Wagner, FW/37, both of Lancaster, were arrested and booked at Lancaster Station where they are being held in lieu of $30,000 bail.

By providing our residents with the “CRIME STOPPERS” anonymous tip line (1-800-222-8477,) we are sending another message to the criminals in our area; “We will find you, we will arrest you, we will prosecute you, and now your neighbors can tell us where you are.”
