City Officials to Recognize Fresno Coin Gallery
For Efforts to Raise Funds for Schools

WHAT: Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin, City Council members, Fresno County Superintendent of Schools Larry Powell and former Fresno Mayor Alan Autry will participate in a ceremony proclaiming “Fresno Coin Gallery Day” to recognize the company’s efforts to raise funds for Fresno County schools.

WHEN: Thursday, March 31, 8:30 a.m.

Fresno City Hall

NOTE: The Fresno Coin Gallery held a three-week gold buying event earlier this month to benefit Fresno County schools. The store contributed 10 percent of every sale to county schools in one of five areas – academics, athletics, agriculture, the arts or area of greatest need.

Fresno Coin Gallery donated $102,250.40 to county schools, exceeding its goal of $100,000.
