Road closure alert:
On Saturday April 2nd, 2011, Erial Little League and Glendora Little League will be holding their annual opening day parades.
The Erial Little League parade will be begin at 8:00am at Point Arial park and will proceed south on Erial Road to Williamston Road. The parade will end at the little league field on Essex Avenue. During the parade, Erial Road will be temporarily closed between Hickstown Road and Garwood Road. Williamstown Road will be temporarily closed between Erial Road and Jarvis Road.
The Glendora Little League parade will begin at 10:00am, at Glendora Fire Station on 8th Avenue. It will proceed north on the Black Horse Pike (Rt 168) and then east onto Evesham Road. The parade will end at the Little League field on Randy Road. During the parade, the Black Horse Pike and Evesham Road will be temporarily closed. Additionally, no parking will be allowed on the Black Horse Pike between Station Avenue and Evesham Road and on Evesham Road between the Black Horse Pike and Albert Avenue.
Drivers should expect heavy pedestrian in both areas. To avoid delays, drivers are encouraged to follow the marked detour routes to avoid delays. Officers will also be stationed at closure points to assist with directions.
