Sunday, March 27, 2011, 10:14 a.m. – A resident of Berkshire Lane in Palm Coast reported someone stole his vehicle battery overnight while it was parked on his drive. The victim said he left his vehicle unlocked overnight and when he went to start the car around 6:30 a.m., he discovered the battery was gone.
Sunday, March 27, 2011, 16:48 p.m. – Two 19-year-old Palm Coast women were charged with shoplifting after a loss prevention officer at Walmart reported the two took swimsuits without paying for them. The items were valued at a little more than $52. The deputy reported the suits were recovered in the purse of one of the teenagers.

Saturday, March 26, 2011, 09:58 a.m. – A Palm Coast businessman reported the air conditioning unit on his store at 300 Palm Coast Parkway Southwest had been tampered with. The deputy reported in all five air conditioner units had been stripped of internal wiring at the office complex.
Saturday, March 26, 2011, 16:11 p.m. - A 42-year-old Palm Coast woman was arrested for domestic battery after her live-in ex-boyfriend told deputies that she had flicked him in the nose during an argument at their home on Plain View Drive. The victim said the woman also grabbed his face and pushed him into a file cabinet.

Friday, March 25, 2011, 10:40 a.m. – A resident of Daytona North reported his truck containing equipment for his commercial surveying business had been entered and several pieces of equipment were missing. The victim told deputies that he had parked the truck on Beech Boulevard for about an hour and when he returned, he found the driver’s side window had been shattered.
Friday, March 25, 2011, 15:52 p.m. – A Daytona North woman who was thrown out of a local tavern on State Road 100 after drinking too much, wound up being arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after she threatened her husband. Deputies said the woman’s husband arrived to drive her home from the bar. One the way home, the 59-year-old became belligerent and threatened to kill her husband after he went to sleep. Her husband then pulled out a gun and handed it to her saying, “Do it”. The woman took the gun and shot out the passenger side window. Her husband stopped the truck, took the gun and called deputies. The woman also was charged with battery and use of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol.

Thursday, March 24, 2011, 17:40 p.m. – Three Palm Coast teenagers were cited for shoplifting at Target after the loss prevention manager reported them taking merchandise out of their shopping cart and putting into their purses. The three were accused of shoplifting a total of $250 worth of merchandise.

Wednesday, March 23, 2011, 08:29 a.m. – An owner of a Palm Coast business on State road 100 reported the theft of about $200 worth of lottery tickets from his business. The owner said he was unsure when the theft occurred.
Wednesday, March 23, 2011, 14:25 p.m. – Deputies responded to a fire at a home on Easterly Place. The victim said she had put some oil in a pot for cooking and then left the room to watch television. About 25-minutes later, she smelled smoke and found the pot, along with the area above the stove was on fire. There were no injuries associated with the incident.
