Warning About Fraudulent Requests for Assistance and Donations to Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Effort 
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
and California Emergency Management Agency (CalEMA) are warning of fraudulent requests for assistance and have provided an authorized contact means for the public wishing to donate to the relief effort. Do not respond to unsolicited requests for assistance without verifying the legitimacy of the organization.
