On 03/09/2011 at approximately 10:04 pm Detective Carlos Rodriguez along with other Detectives of the Perth Amboy Police Special Investigate Unit came upon a robbery in progress at the intersection of Park Ave. and New Brunswick Ave while patrolling. Two subjects, later identified as Richard Orengo and Damian Castro, were observed striking the victim in the face and going through his pockets. Both Damian Castro, From Carteret NJ, Age 26 and Richard Orengo, From Perth Amboy, Age NJ 39 were arrested and charged with robbery. Both were transported to the Middlesex County Correctional Facility and held on $75,000 bail no 10%
