DOMESTIC/SEX ABUSE ARREST
One individual has been arrested and charged with a domestic abuse related offense, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Jeremy Lamar Sherrell, 37, Attalla, has been arrested and charged first degree sexual abuse, which is a felony and third degree domestic violence, which is a misdemeanor” states Investigator Carla Carroll.
The incident occurred on March 8th at a residence located on Miller Hollow Road, in Attalla.
The female victim, age 34, was treated and released at a local hospital after the incident.
Sherrell is currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center without bond.
