Police Blotter

FTO Tarango and Officer Hollifield arrested a male for a DUI warrant.

FTO Snow and Officer Greenberg arrested a male for two misdemeanor warrants.

Officer Ceniceros arrested a male for a stolen vehicle warrant.

Ofc. Ceniceros conducts a traffic stop and arrests a male (55yrs) for possession of a controlled substance, under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license.

Ofc. Gourley conducts a traffic stop and arrests a subject (M/34) for being an unlicensed driver.

Ofc. Shannon conducts a traffic stop and arrests a subject (M/26) for driving with a suspended drivers license.

Ofc. Settle conducts a traffic stop and arrests a male (26yrs) for being an unlicensed driver.

A male phoned police to report that he had a “legal prescription to sell marijuana,” and a plan to sell it to a “legal buyer.” When our law-abiding citizen met with the prospective buyer at Walnut/Paseo, the not-so-upstanding citizen snatched the marijuana and walked away. Since the seller had overpriced the marijuana by $80, perhaps justice was served. Officer Snelson took a theft report.

A 78 year-old male was last seen at his home on Park Center Lane at 0800 hours. Family reported him missing at 1300 hrs. The male often wanders the area, however, he recently had surgery, and left without his medication. He has only been in Fremont for two months. Officers searched the area with negative results. Nixle and Code Red notifications completed. He was ultimately located and returned to his family.

RP (Reporting Party) calls to report a hit and run collision. After hitting a parked vehicle, the driver ran leaving his car behind. A bill of sale is located inside the vehicle with the purchasers name (M/21). Contact is made with the male at his residence and he claims he was carjacked. Ofc. Gourley questions his story and the male subsequently admits that he was driving. The male is on probation for DUI and is arrested for DUI and hit and run.
