Full Notification

On 03/07/2011 at 8:30 am Victim reported that he parked his car in the driveway, Mary St, at 11:30 pm, 3/6/2011. When he returned the next day he found that his GPS was missing, Victim might have left his door unlocked.

On 03/07/2011, at 9:30 am police were dispatch to Carson Ave. Victim stated that she parked her vehicle in her driveway at 12:23 am, 3/7/11. When she returned at 8:24 am she founded that her GPS Tom-Tom navigation unit and an Apple I-pod Touch which were both taken, located in the vehicle's glove box. Also stolen were 2 black medium size duffel bags that were filled with the victim's costume jewelry merchandise, which were in the trunk area of the vehicle.

Police warn and as advised by GPS manufacturers not leave the GPS unit including the suction cup holder in plain view. Items of value should also not be left in plain view, as this is an open invitation to theft. Please ensure that your car is locked. Some insurance companies may not cover deductibles.
