On Friday, March 4, 2011, police were dispatched to Hommann Ave on a report of a theft from a vehicle.

Victim stated that he parked the vehicle on Hommann Ave on 03/03/2011 around 11:30 pm. On 03/04/2011 around 7: 00 pm he went to his vehicle to go to work when he discovered that the contents of the vehicle had been thrown about. After looking through the vehicle he noticed his music cd's and Garmin GPS were missing as well as his wallet. Upon contacting his credit card company he discovered that the credit card was declined during the night at an Exxon on Lafayette St. in Newark NJ.

Police warn and as advised by the GPS manufacturer, do not leave the GPS unit including the suction cup holder in plain view. Items of value should not be left in plain view, as this is an open invitation to theft. Please ensure that your car is locked.
