Police are seeking information about a home invasion at Chestnut and Pine that occurred on March 1st at 11 am.

On Tuesday March 1st at approximately 11:20 AM one of your neighbors in the area of Chestnut and Pine interrupted a suspected home invasion of his residence. Your neighbor was confronted and seriously injured by the suspects outside his home. Thankfully the victim received immediate medical attention and is expected to recover fully from his injury. The victim’s name and address are not being provided in order to protect his privacy.
Two suspects were observed by the victim. Both are described as black males about twenty years old, 6’0” tall, medium build, wearing dark baseball caps, dark hooded sweatshirts, and blue jeans. No vehicle was observed by the victim.
The investigation into this unfortunate incident continues. If you or any occupants of your home observed any suspicious subjects, vehicles, or activity in your neighborhood prior to or around the time of the incident please contact D/Sgt Lance at 313-943-2292 as soon as possible.
