Perth Amboy Animal Shelter will now be open on the weekends. 
Deputy Chief Ben Ruiz announced today that starting Saturday, March 19, 2011 the Perth Amboy Animal Shelter will be open daily. The shelter will be open to the public Monday thru Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. It is our hope that the additional hours will better serve our community, while also provide the opportunity to adopt Dogs and/or Cats that need homes. The shelter will still be closed on holidays.
