Crystal Lake Police and the McHenry County Sheriffs Office to host a Car Seat Checkup event tomorrow. See your email. 
On Saturday, February 26, 2011, the Crystal Lake Police Department will partner with the McHenry County Sheriffs Office to host a free Car Seat Safety Check Event from 9 am to Noon at Pauly Toyota in Crystal Lake. Pauly Toyota is located on Route 31 at the intersection of Rakow Road. Stop by to make sure your child/grandchild is secured safely and is within the requirements of their car seat or booster seat. The car seat misuse rate in Illinois is at 95% and a properly installed car seat will reduce the risk of a serious injury or fatality to a child by almost 75%. If you have questions, please contact either the Crystal Lake Police Department or the McHenry County Sheriffs Office. Other agencies partnering with this event are Safe Kids McHenry County and the Illinois Department of Transportation.
This event will be held indoors at Pauly Toyota.
