At about 4:29PM this evening (Wed., Feb. 23), there was an accident involving a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department helicopter.

During a training sequence simulating a hydraulic failure, there was an accident at March Air Force Base in Riverside. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department pilot and co-pilot were not injured. The A-Star 350 helicopter was damaged.

Investigators are on scene at March Air Force base.
