Trash Collection delayed due to the snow 
Due to the large amount of snow that has fallen during the past 18 hours as well as current road conditions in Southeast Michigan area, Republic Services has suspended collection service operations and called back all collection trucks from the road. Republic WILL NOT provide collection services today (Monday February 21, 2011). Republic will commence collection service operations tomorrow morning.
Republic would like to remind all of our residents and customers to please not do plow in or bury your trash/recycle carts, bags, or containers with snow. It is important to ensure that all materials are easily identified and accessible by Republic's collection staff. For commercial and industrial customers, Republic respectfully requests that all gates, ramps, and other access/loading areas are easily accessible and safe for collection services.
