LPD seeking to identify suspect in a robbery of an individual case.

On February 2nd at approximately 11:36 PM in the area of 66th and University an unknown suspect attempted to rob a young female who was in her vehicle. The victim reported losing control of her vehicle in icy conditions and stopping for a moment. The suspect approached the vehicle and the victim rolled her window down, believing the suspect was checking her welfare. The suspect then threatened her with a knife and demanded money. The victim was able to surprise the suspect and drive away when the suspect lowered the knife. The victim was not injured. The suspect did not obtain any property from the victim.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25-35 years old, approximately 5’09”-5’10” with a medium build. Suspect was wearing a black toboggan hat and a black hoodie with the hood up. Picture is a composite sketch of the suspect. LPD case #11-5632
