Extensive Manhunt Ends in the Arrest of Three Bank Robbers

Modesto, CA- Teamwork leads to the arrest of three armed bank robbers. Concerned citizens and allied agencies all played a role in aiding Modesto Police officers locating and apprehending three violent suspects.
On February 11th, at about 10:33 a.m., Modesto Police officers responded to a reported bank robbery at the Oak Valley Community Bank, located at 4120 Dale Road in Northwest Modesto. Two suspects, armed with handguns, entered the bank and took an undisclosed amount of money. The suspects ran toward a waiting black passenger vehicle and fled the scene.
Witnesses provided responding officers with the clothing and vehicle description of the suspects. With the information, officers were able to locate the vehicle and three suspects in the 3700 block of Woodglen Drive. When the suspects seen the officers, all three ran south and jumped over fences into the adjacent residential neighborhood. Two suspects were quickly detained in the 3700 block of Corrine Lane. The two suspects were taken into custody without incident. The third suspect was able to temporarily elude officers
While waiting for additional resources, officers set a perimeter around the neighborhood, in an attempt to contain the third suspect. Officers from the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s office and California Highway Patrol assisted in cordoning off the neighborhood, as Modesto officers and canines teams searched yard to yard. The officers were also aided by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s helicopter.
After an extensive 3 ½ hour yard to yard search, officer located the third suspect hiding in the backyard of the 3700 block of Merrifield Avenue.
All three suspects were arrested for robbery and conspiracy. They will be booked into the Stanislaus County Jail. Arrested were:
1. Marvin Yang Crawford, a 25-year-old Salinas resident
2. Brian Scott Robinson, a 32-year-old Salinas resident
3. Adrain Kieth Olivas, a 24-year-old Tracy resident
