A suspect has been arrested in connection to the Key Bank robbery that occurred on Feb. 4, 2011 in Dearborn.

Key Bank Robbery
Dearborn, Mi. — Thanks to the assistance of the public and tips generated through the media, after an intense and well coordinated investigation the Dearborn Police Department and the and US Marshals located and arrested 35-year-old Adam Howard Whitlock. Dearborn Police also worked in conjunction with “Little Caesars Corporate Security” and was able to rule out any connection with the suspect as a current or former employee.
On February 7, 2011 an arrest warrant was approved by the Wayne County Prosecutor’s office and signed by 19th District Court Judge Mark Somers. The arrest warrant charges Whitlock with the bank robbery at the Key Bank located at 230 N. Telegraph on February 4th, 2011. Whitlock is expected to be arraigned Friday.
Chief Ronald Haddad stated he “commends the detectives and surveillance unit who worked tirelessly, around the clock, putting together all available tips and information that led to the subsequent arrest of the suspect in this robbery.” Chief Haddad also “extends thanks to the media for sharing the information with the public and to the public whose tips were instrumental in this investigation and the ultimate arrest of Mr. Whitlock”
