Dearborn Police need assistance in identifying a suspect in the Key Bank robbery. See email for suspect picture.

On February 4, 2011 at 5:52 pm, a male suspect entered the Key Bank located at 230 North Telegraph in the City of Dearborn. The suspect presented the teller with a note that stated he had a weapon. The suspect demanded an undisclosed amount of money and told the teller, “No dye packs or tracers or I will start shooting.”

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid thirties, 5”6” to 5’8” tall, medium build, wearing a ear phone device in his left ear, a hooded sweatshirt and a dark colored polo shirt with a Little Caesars Pizza logo on the left breast pocket.

Investigators believe that on January 19, 2010, the same suspect robbed the Fifth Third Bank located at 1620 North Telegraph in the City of Dearborn.

Chief Ronald Haddad stated, “The Dearborn Police would like the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information leading to the identity of the suspect is asked to call the Dearborn Police Tip line at 313-943-3012.”
