Incident Stolen Air Conditioner Units
Several commercial/industrial air conditioners have been stolen in the Battle Creek Area recently. The thieves are taking their time to unbolt and unwire the units, probably for resale. These units cost thousands of dollars and are very expensive to have installed. On 01-16-2011 at 113 S. Union, and 01-30-2011 at 400 Waubascon Rd. several units were taken. If anyone observes an air conditioning unit in a truck or on a trailer, please contact the Battle Creek Police Department. Ask for Det/Sgt. Simons or Detective Wood.
