Subject: Deputy’s patrol vehicle rear-ended on US 131
An Allegan County Sheriffs’ Office patrol vehicle was rear-ended at approximately 2:28 p.m. on southbound US 131 just south of the 129th Avenue bridge (Bradley exit). The deputy had stopped to investigate an earlier crash when another southbound vehicle rear-ended his vehicle. The deputy was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and there were no other injuries resulting from the crash. The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident.
