ML Police attempting to identify vehicle of a past tense motor vehicle accident that struck a juvenile. See website.

Medford Lakes – The Medford Lakes Police Department is investigating a motor vehicle accident involving a grey Honda or Hyundai type vehicle that struck a 13 year old male pedestrian. The accident occurred at approximately 3:15 PM on January 25, 2011 on Tecumseh Trail near Vaughn Hall. Police were advised of the accident later the same evening. The juvenile male suffered minor injuries.

The juvenile described the vehicle as a grey Honda or Hyundai driven by a white female, approximately 40 years of age, with brown and grey, shoulder length hair. She was wearing sunglasses.

The vehicle first struck the juvenile from behind as he was walking home from school on Tecumseh Trail. The impact spun him around when he then was hit by the passenger side view mirror across his chest. The driver of the vehicle stopped and asked if he was okay then left the area turning right onto Powhatan Trail.
