DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ARREST
One individual has been arrested and charged with a domestic violence related offense, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“William Butch Helton, 44, of Boaz, has been arrested and charged with one count of second degree domestic violence, which is a felony,” states Investigator Tracey Bishop.
The incident allegedly happened at a residence on Hudson Hollow Road on January 14th. The victim was treated at the scene of the incident.
Helton is currently in the Etowah County Detention Center on $5,000 property bond.
